Our ModSecur Micro Datacenter was implemented in Poland, at the new factory of Simoldes Plastics, a global leader in molds for car manufacturers.
The compactness, modularity and robustness of the solution allowed it to be sent to the site previously assembled and ready to be interconnected with the communication and energy infrastructures and with the outdoor cooling units. In just over 24 hours, the infrastructure was fully implemented and fully available to receive the IT equipment.
This was a challenging project for our team, because it was an implementation in an area under construction, with an aggressive and hostile environment.
The ModSecur MDC solution implemented, in addition to the IP65 and IK10 characteristics, also guarantees 2N redundancy of the rescued energy and cooling infrastructure.
Industry 4.0 manufacturing processes, IoT and edge computing make micro data centers a necessity to support modern industry. They respond effectively to market demands and provide the functionality of a conventional data center, in a more economical way and with a shorter implementation time.
ModSecur MDC was designed to guarantee total security and availability of IT equipment support infrastructure, as well as low energy consumption, with a PUE of 1.3.
Its way of construction allows its installation and reinstallation in any environment.
